The crew consisted of 5 soldiers.
The Panzer IV Ausf.G is distuguishable from the Ausf.F2 by the new double baffle muzzle break.
The engine was the 265HP Maybach HL120TRM which allowed a maximum speed of 40km/h on street. The Panzer IV Ausf.G was 6.62m long, 2.88m wide and 2.68m high. It weighted 23.5 tons.
The 1.SS-Pz.Div. "Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler" was originally founded in 1933 but was raised as division only from 1939. It became a Panzergrenadierdivision in September 1942 and a Panzerdivision in October 1943. It fought on the Balkans, Russia, France, Kharkov, Kursk, Italy, Normandy, Ardennes, Hungary, Austria and Berlin. The last units surrendered in May 1945 in Austria.
